My Dream World -project will be organizing workshops, exhibition and a round table discussion at Open Design week in Cape Town.
The My Dream World workshop will engage with the local youth
community and aims to establish new participatory and empowering service
design tools to be used by the target audience.
The designed tools will enable youths to handle and find solutions
that support their career path and coping with difficult employment and
educational situation. Various methods and techniques will be
explored including photograph, video and narrative probes, t-shirt
printing workshop and developing empowering garments as part of the
Hero’s Journey.
